Mission Statement

I have not used this blog in the 3+ years since coming up with the clever title and creating it but now I think I have come up with a project for myself to fill my own little spot on cyberspace. Over the years I have amassed a collection of vinyl through various online auctions or bulk sales at the flea market, garage sale, record sale, or estate sale. My thinking was that even though I only want a few of the records from the lot, for the price of about 10 cents a record or less, I might get lucky and discover something new and exciting. I have decided now is the time to start listening. My goal is to start in two weeks after sorting through my collection and hopefully listen to a record a day and let you know my thoughts. I will take pictures of cover art I find noteworthy. This will include the awesome and the awful. Come and join me on my sonic adventure into the unknown. I hope to post a list of what I plan to listen to soon.
